# View links

> A read-only, shareable link to a package's documents, for someone who doesn't need to sign.

A **view link** (`/view/[token]`) gives read-only access to a package's documents, for CC recipients or anyone else who needs to see the file without signing it. Opening it records the view, then shows the documents.

An expired or revoked link shows an explanatory state instead of the documents.
